Keme Nzerem

keme_nzerem_cropped.jpg 34 year old Keme Nzerem is an award winning reporter for Channel 4 News. As well as co-presenting Channel 4 News, he also presents More4 News.

Keme won the RTS international news award in 2008 for narrating a special report on the US `surge' in Iraq. Now based in the UK, he ran Channel 4 News' Washington buro for 2 years, travelling and reporting widely on a wide range of topics from politics, the War in Iraq, to the environment. He reported from New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba the week the alleged mastermind of 9/11 Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was secretly transported there, and in 2006 produced and reported for the show's midterm elections coverage.

Prior to the USA Keme was a producer in Channel 4's Home Affairs unit, working across the domestic `war on terror', criminal justice, education and health. His writing on Islamic radicalism has been published by the Guardian.

Keme's travel writing has also been published by the Guardian.

Keme frequently presents Channel 4 News' Saturday sports slot, having previously been the show's sports producer.
