Suzi Grant

Suzi Grant Picture Suzi Grant is a qualified practitioner and member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists. She runs thriving practices in London and the South East, where she lives. As well as running workshops and giving lectures she also writes for a wide range of national magazines and newspapers and broadcasts regularly on LBC, Southern FM and other TV and radio stations.

Suzi has had a distinguished career as a radio and TV journalist and presenter for over 20 years. A regular reporter on TV-am for seven years and newsreader on Sky News and Meridian TV, she also worked as a presenter on Capital Radio and BBC Radio 4 and 5. During this time she was a chain-smoking, hard drinking career girl, working long hours and burning the candle at both ends. But when her mother died of a heart attack at the age of 61, Suzi decided it was time to take control of her own health and her life completely changed direction. She trained as a nutritional therapist at the College of Natural Nutrition and started treating patients and writing health articles and books.

Suzi is the author of three books, 48 Hours to a Healthier Life, The Weekend Weight Loss Plan and her latest book Alternative Ageing, which presents twelve steps to ageing well. Suzi has intensely researched the very latest breakthroughs on natural anti-ageing techniques and in Alternative Ageing she translates the science into a practical and easy plan that works towards keeping you feeling and looking young, fit and healthy.

Suzi lives every day to the max and is known by her friends as “The Naughty Nutritionist”, because she practises what she preaches 80% of the time but the other 20% she is still capable of being a normal human being! She loves taking up new challenges and this year she plans to start wind surfing, learn Tai Chi and start her MA in ‘The Body: Eastern and Western Perspectives’. She is also a MBT Trainer (Masai Barefoot Technology) and Brighton residents will regularly spot her on the beach power-walking a class of like-minded people along the promenade. Fit, fun and funky, she doesn’t believe in cosmetic surgery but does believe in regular facials.
