Rosie makes regular appearances on news programmes and current affairs. She was the subject of a one-off documentary on her editorship of The Independent.

 

Britain’s (and possibly the World’s!) longest-serving TV weather forecaster, Michael Fish became famous for his so called 'hurricane gaff' in 1987. Now retired from the Met Office he spends his time as a regular weather presenter on BBC SouthEast, as well as giving after dinner speeches and lectures on Climate Change. He is the co-author of 'Storm Force' about Britain's wildest weather.

Her career in television, radio and newspapers has been a distinguished one, including most recently six years as senior Home Affairs Correspondent for BBC News. She is also an Associate Fellow with the lead security think tank RUSI where she frequently writes and lectures.

Broadcaster, journalist, author, conservationalist – Stanley Johnnson’s achievements are numerous, traveling the world in pursuit of animal welfare and spearheading environmental projects. Stanley has had many books published and regularly writes for newspapers and magazines on a range of topics – from politics and travel to society at large. He appears on television and radio, presenting documentaries for Channel Four as well as guesting on news, current affairs and feature programmes.

 

Lawrence is the Science Editor for ITN. During his career he has won many awards including; 2 BAFTAs for Channel 4 News and Best News or Outside Broadcast and 2 RTS awards for the best sports news report for the coverage of the drugs scandal at the Barcelona Olympics and the Kings Cross Disaster.

 

Nick Middleton is a geographer, writer and presenter of television documentaries. He teaches at Oxford University where he is a Fellow of St Anne's College.

He is the author of seven travel books, including the 2001 bestseller, Going to Extremes (Pan) and its follow-ups Surviving Extremes (Pan, 2004) and Extremes along the Silk Road (J Murray, 2006).
